The Macomb Township Historical commission believes history is preserved in a more dynamic way thru stories. 

Oral history obtains information from different perspectives, and provides details that often cannot be found in written sources or photos.

We are looking for residents of macomb Township to tape a planned interview and provide historical information about individuals, families, important events, or everyday life relating to Macomb Township.  We are looking for residents who participated in or observed these past events and whose memories and perceptions will serve as part of Macomb Towsnhip's historical archive for future generations.

Some, or parts of these interviews will be presented on this website.

Details of how and when these interviews will be conducted are still being developed by the Historical Commission.
